Web Video Conferencing Case Study
The Problem: Medi-Media has clients and offices all across the world that they normally communicated with over the phone, and in-person. Traveling to meet face-to-face with each client is often impossible due to time and expense constraints. The Audio Visual set up before Haverford Systems installation included a old XGA projector that sat on the table and projected on a Dalite screen. The projector had cables going every where and it did not support 16:9 and 16:10 widescreen formats or HDMI.
The Solution: Haverford Systems installed the Basic Web-Conferencing Kit with upgraded Vaddio ClearVIEW HD Camera. The system includes: a Sharp 70” LED-LCD, 1 HDMI and 1 VGA Connection installed into an Extron cable cubby, 1 Vaddio ClearVIEW HD USB PTZ Camera, and 2 Clear One Chat Attach 150’s.
This system allows Medi-Media to conduct face-to-face meetings with clients across the globe with their favorite web-conferencing software. After consultations with Haverford Systems we were able to find the most appropriate web-based online meeting software for Medi-Media.
