The Epiphan Pearl is one of the easiest ways to live stream, switch between cameras, and record. You can capture up to 6 video sources simultaneously, from SD to 4K. You can connect these video sources via HDMI, 4K HDMI, 12G SDI, or over your network. The Pearl 2 is packed with a 6th generation Intel i7 processor to ensure it has the power to handle all the video. It can handle up to 4K video at 30 FPS.
The Pearl 2 includes a 512 GB SSD to store your recordings. You can easily transfer the recordings by USB 3.0 or over the network to a network storage to ensure your files are always protected. If you are running low on space the Pearl will automatically delete the oldest files to make room for the new recordings.
Controlling and monitoring the live stream can be done by a single operator. While using the web-based admin panel you can very easily drag and drop overlays, power points, backgrounds, text, and time stamps. When using the touch screen you can start your stream or recording & swap layouts or overlays at the touch of a finger.
